Applying brick slips
The application of brick slips must be in accordance with the ETICS manu- facturer’s recommendations.
We will gladly provide you with test cer- tificates for the brick slips so you can dis- cuss these with the ETICS supplier.
When applying clinker brick slips to a structure, angle or corner, slips are glued to the corners
and reveals while the normal stretcher and head slips are glued to the supporting surface. Mortar is applied later as a distinct step.
A flush mortar finish must be employed with brick slips. The thinness of the strips does not allow for any receding mortar finish.
