 ORNAMENTIC &
ORNAMENTAL STONES
 A masonry
has always invited ornamentation and architectural detail.
Elements of ornamentation are frequently applied to masonry and the detail often gives a clue as to the era in which a build- ing was constructed as fashions change. Some such embellishments include arch- ways, pilasters, gargoyles, corbels, Hoger- sche layers (ribbing or fluting) and lesenes.
»In classical architecture, a pilaster is an architectural element used to give the ap- pearance of a supporting column and to articulate the extent of the wall, with only an ornamental function.« (Wikipedia)
If you are considering highlighting your pro- ject with masonry detail we will be happy to discuss the variety of ornamentation styles, shaped bricks and special formats available.
